3 Day Bwindi  Gorilla Safaris In Uganda

Gorillas are the bulkiest among the primates where the adult male gorilla weighs up to 210kg and almost 2meters in height. These are exceptionally well presented in Uganda with Bwindi having half of the world gorilla population. On this safari you will also enjoy the magnificent L. Bunyonyi and a canoe ride on the lake.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National park

Have breakfast and start your transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, this is a scenic journey that you will enjoy with unique vegetation that is so stunning. You will have lunch in Mbarara and then after proceed to the park. You will have a stopover at the equator for some photos and experiments. You will also get to visit the craft centers as you get to travel.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge

Day 2: Gorilla trek & transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Have breakfast and the ranger will brief you about gorilla trekking and about the dos and don’ts off this activity. After this, you will then go with the rangers to start your experience. Once you track these gorillas, you will be given 1 hour to interact with these giant mountain gorillas. After enjoying your time with the gorillas. You will then have lunch and then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi to enjoy a scenery viewing in the evening.

Dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi

Day 3: Have a boat cruise & transfer back to Kampala

Have breakfast and after go for a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi, you will be able to explore the main Islands of this lake, after you will get back to lodge and check out of the lodge and start your transfer back to Kampala arriving late afternoon.
