4 Days Kidepo Valley National Park

Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day1: Travel from Kampala to Kidepo Valley National Park.

After your breakfast you will be picked up by your driver /guide to begin your journey at the park. Its along journey therefore tourist have to wake up very early in the morning in order to beat he hours and traffic jam along the road.

Lunch stop will be at several stop overs as requested for you to stretch your leg’s or ease yourself, on arrival you will check-in the booked safari lodges for dinner and overnight.

Day2: Early morning game drive with cultural encounter (Karamojong’s)

Wake up very early in the morning for breakfast or you can choose to park yours and have it during the game drive. We will set out very early in the morning in order to have sightings of wildlife animals which tend to be more active during this time.

Return to the lodge after an awesome adventure have lunch and later set out for the cultural encounter of the local people called Karamojong’s a unique group of people. you will get to know about their ways of living and their various cultural practices. return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Nature walk of an evening game drive

You will head out for a nature walk through Kanangorok hot springs after breakfast. Take a look at the landscape here which is breath taking and will get to see a number of ostriches roaming in the park.

Return to the lodge for lunch as you rest before you go for an evening game drive. The game drives will take 2-3 hours as you spot some wildlife that you missed seeing in the morning. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Kidepo valley national park back to Kampala

After breakfast you will check out of the safari lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala where you will have several stop overs including one for lunch as on your way and once in Kampala you will be dropped off at your desired location.
