Detailed Itinerary for 7 days Uganda Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Visit Entebbe Town

Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe international Airport, you will meet your safari Guide who will explore you Entebbe town with chances to visit the Uganda wildlife Education center to view a variety of wildlife species like Rhinos, Leopards, Lions, Elephants, impala, Giraffes, Olive Baboons, warthogs, among others.

If time allows you will also visit the Botanical Gardens for bird watching and viewing the plant life. This place is a one stop site for Birding in Uganda with bird species like Yellow-billed stork, yellow white eye, Pink-backed Pelican, Eastern Grey plantain eater, Purple-banded sun bird, open billed stork, Malachite Kingfisher, African Jacana among others. Transfer to your Hotel for Dinner and overnight. Victoria Serena Hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with A Stop at The Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After an early morning breakfast, embark to the journey to Murchison falls national park travelling along Kampala Bombo highway, along the way you will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for black and white rhino trekking. Head for lunch in Masindi Hotel. After a great meal continue with the journey to Murchison falls national Park. Upon arrival at the park, check in to the lodge for diner and rest.

Day 3: Morning boat cruise on the Nile River and evening Game drive

 After a hefty breakfast at your lodge, head for a morning boat cruise on the Nile River. Along the Nile you will be able to see a number of wildlife including a number of numerous bird species such as kingfishers and the shoe bill storks, you will start your ride from the downstream to the upstream at the foot of the Murchison falls.

After the great ride at the boat you will hike to the top of the falls as you be able to spot the largest concentration of Aquatic wildlife. Retire for lunch as you get ready for an evening game drive at the northern section of the park where you will spot a variety of bird species and a number of wild animals like water bucks, leopards, lions, warthogs, hyenas, elephants, buffalos, hartebeests among others.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After having breakfast at your lodge, go for a morning game drive spot more animals that you might have missed the previous day. Back to lodge for check out and start to your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, along the way you will be able to spot amazing scenery, crater lakes, escarpments and also viewing the Ruwenzori mountain ranges. Upon arrival at the park check in to your lodge for dinner and retire.

Day 5: Morning Game drive and an evening boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel

Wake up early in the morning for breakfast, and then head for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector with chances to spot animals like elephants, lions, antelopes, warthogs, buffaloes.

After a great adventure and spotting the wild creatures, head back to the lodge for lunch and head for a boat cruise at the Kazinga Channel to spot a number of birds like pelicans, kingfishers, saddle billed storks including a number of mammals like hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, elephants, buffaloes among others, retire to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 6: Travel to Lake Mburo National Park with a visit to the Equator

After a morning breakfast at your lodge, transfer to Lake Mburo national park with a visit to the Equator for historical stories, adventures, photograph and lunch. After lunch continue to the park. Check in to your lodge upon arrival and an evening relaxing as you watch the sun setting down. Retire for dinner and overnight

Day 7: Morning Game Drive and Departure

After a morning breakfast at your lodge, head for a morning Game Drive to view many animals that you had not seen in the previous game drives such as the Zebras, impalas, warthogs, Ugandan Kobs, Antelopes, Giraffes, Elephants, among others. Back to the lodge for check out and transfer to Kampala to end your 7 days Uganda safari. End of safari.
